A Stake is a unit within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (or Latter Day Saints/LDS). The Magrath Stake is located in the town of Magrath, Alberta, Canada and area, with 6 Wards in Magrath, 1 in Welling and Branches in Spring Coulee and Del Bonita. Each Ward consists of a specific area with 200-300 members. The Magrath Stake Campground facility was purchased and developed to provide a place primarily for stake youth group events (scouts and young women) , as well as for other church group events, and then to other Stakes of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Other Church and Scout groups, and to Family Groups. Bookings are made with these priorities in mind.

You must check in and out with the camp caretakers, and the balance of the rental fee for the period booked must be paid before check in. A checklist form (in/out) will be completed and the cleaning deposit refunded if check out is satisfactory.
