Magrath Stake Campground Rules
All users must comply with the following rules:
- This campground is owned by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and is maintained by church members on a volunteer basis. There is no paid cleaning staff, therefore your cooperation in cleaning the campground to the same state as you found it would be most appreciated and will result in a full refund of your cleaning/damage deposit.
- Toilet paper, garbage bags, cleaning supplies, brooms, mops, etc., are supplied on-site.
- Put all trash in the large garbage dumpster.
- Quiet time (no visitors, vehicles, or noise) is from 11 pm. to 6:30 am.
- Firearms, fireworks, off-road vehicles (2, 3, & 4-wheeled), horses, skateboards, bows-and-arrows, paintballs, and snowmobiles are PROHIBITED.
- DO NOT drive or park motorized vehicles on grassed areas or the horseshoe courts.
- Motorcycles are permitted only for access to and from the campground and are not to be operated within the campground for any other purpose (e.g. recreation).
- Dogs are permitted, but must be leashed or confined and cleaned up after.
- Tents are allowed only in designated campsites or in natural (non-irrigated) grassed areas on the south and east side of the camp.
- Fires are permitted only in the fire pits provided.
- Please extinguish fires with water only before leaving campsite.
- Wood for fires is available on-site.
- Do not cut or damage campground trees or buildings.
- LDS standards must be kept by everyone in the campground.
- No smoking, drinking alcohol, or drug usage.
- Coffee and tea are not to be served in the Pavilion or camp kitchen.
- Water slide use must be supervised by responsible adults. Water slide uses non potable water.
- Swimming suits only and soft vinyl blowup pool toys only are allowed on the water slide.
- Do not stand or walk on the water slide. Return to the top away from the edge of the slide.
- Caution - supervising adults & parents: Be aware that the unfenced Pothole Creek runs adjacent to the campground area. Watch your children in this area.
